About Jeff
As the grandson of Aladdin Heating and Cooling’s founder Edward Turowski, Jeff Turowski’s family values of hard work and honesty have been instilled since childhood. After graduating as valedictorian of his high school class, Jeff received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Western Michigan University where he graduated first in his class with the Presidential Scholar Award.
It is Jeff’s desire to take the knowledge and skills he acquired throughout his life to provide the people of Southeast Michigan with the highest quality, cost-effective heating and cooling solutions. He also makes customer experiences pleasant and enjoyable — whether it’s the average service call or a midnight emergency on Christmas Eve.
About Aladdin Heating & Cooling
Edward F. Turowski, founder of Aladdin Heating and Cooling, was born and raised in the Detroit area. As a young teenager, he worked for a local plumber to help his mother pay the family’s bills. During World War II, Ed served in the Seabee unit of the U.S. Navy, where he was tasked with many duties including underwater piping on crucial fuel lines for naval vessels and airplanes.
When the war ended, Ed moved back home to Detroit, continuing work in the piping industry and founded Aladdin Mechanical Contractors in 1945, which eventually became Aladdin Heating & Cooling. The philosophy he lived by was simple, “Work hard, be honest with your customers, and treat their home as if it were your own.” It is a philosophy that has kept Aladdin Heating & Cooling serving residential and commercial customers in the Detroit area for more than 50 years.
Although Ed passed away in 1997, his tradition of honesty and hard work is carried on by his two sons, his two grandsons, and the company’s 45 employees.
